Our first two-part episode contains never-before-heard conversations with "The Confession Killer" Henry Lee Lucas. In 1984 Henry confessed to the sexual assault and murder of Marla Scharp in Provo, Utah six years earlier.
Based on Lucas' confession, Marla's case was closed without anyone being charged. We review the evidence that ruled out Lucas and resulted in Provo police reopening the 1978 murder of Marla Scharp.
The evidence uncovered by the Cold Case Coalition would not only rule out Lucas in this case, but in potentially hundreds of his other confessions. We invite anyone with knowledge about this case to comment below or contact us.
