What Happened to Raymond "Dean" Shurtz?

Raymond “Dean” Shurtz was a talented honky-tonk musician who went missing in November of 2005. The truck he was driving was discovered stuck on a frontage road near Valley of Fire in Nevada with footprints leading away from the highway. Despite multiple searches and helicopter surveillance of the area, Dean still hasn’t been found over 14 years later.

Many people don’t realize how vast the deserts of the western U.S. are, or that thousands of people disappear into these areas every year. We go over the missing person case of Dean Shurtz with his son Raymond., who discusses his father’s disappearance in a one-man-show he performs as a way to cope with his father’s disappearance.
