Who killed Savannah Hoskins?

In 1985 two dismembered legs were found in a river near 24th street in Ogden, Utah.  The legs were later identified as those of 34-year-old mother of five, Savannah Hoskins.  She had previously been reported missing by her husband Joe, but the body parts weren't confirmed to belong to Savannah until 34 years later.

After public records requests made by the Cold Case Coalition, Ogden Lt. Brian Eynon decided to dig deeper into the cold case. Police were able to perform additional DNA testing that confirmed the identity of the body parts which were long-suspected to be those of Savannah Hoskins.

Savannah was reported missing days before the legs were discovered by her husband Joe Hoskins. He was a suspect at the time, but the rest of Savannah’s body has yet to be found and no charges were brought in connection with Savannah’s case.

The Cold Case Coalition wants to solve this case, and will provide a reward for information leading to solving the case - regardless of whether charges can still be made against the perpetrator(s).
